Wonder is the root of the natural sciences, when one has wonder at nature, it begets a desire for Natural History, in which the experiences marveled at are gathered and provisionally organized.  From there the mind moves to Natural Science in which theoretical frameworks and hypotheses and created to understand the information held. This culminates in Natural Philosophy in which we learn the causes of material things. In each year of the science track, the students go from wonder to Natural Philosophy, learning about nature in deeper and deeper ways.
